Change Classification Icon

The icon for the classification is automatically associated with any assets or inventory items of this classification. If a different icon is preferred for an individual asset or inventory item, it can be changed from the Details page of the respective module.

ClosedChange an Existing Classification Icon

  1. Click the Change Icon… button to the right of the Classification Info header on the Classification Details page.

    The Change Icon window opens. Allow the window to populate.

  2. Select a category from the Category field in the upper-right part of the window.

  3. Select the desired icon.

    A selection box appears around the icon.

  4. Click Apply.

    The new icon appears to the left of the Classification Name field.

  5. Click Save.

     

ClosedAdd a Custom Icon

Customers with on-premise installations can add a custom icon to their system.

  1. Ensure the icon is 16 x 13 pixels.

  2. Name the icon so that it ends with _g.gif.

    For example, mynewicon_g.gif.

  3. Place the icon in any library folder under the map_v12\iconlib folder.
